Interplay returns to Jazz Coventry to open their 2019 – 2020 season. The club has gone from strength to strength under Neil McGowan’s stewardship and we are looking forward to playing there again.
We will be playing a typical selection of original tunes (new and old), some jazz favourites and one or two global grooves. We aim to make the music “entertaining and uplifting”, as a previous audience member once memorably put it. After the disappointment of a cancellation in July we are well up for this one!
If you don’t know the venue, it is comfortable and spacious, upstairs above the Albany Social Club (of which it is part). Parking in Earlsdon Street can sometimes be a challenge, but you can always find space in the side streets off it.
